Chapter 27

Peeta and Katniss have to watch  a recap of the games during their reunion. I was wondering why they had to watch it again when they just lived through it. Katniss finally realized that Peeta had took care of her even when they were apart. I thought Peeta must really love Katniss to try to protect her from the other tributes. Katniss has to explain about the berries in their interview. Kattnis was afraid to say the wrong thing because Haymitch said the capitol didn't like her idea of both of them trying to commit suicide. Katniss isn't sure about her feelings for Peeta, Peeta and Katniss return home. I felt sorry for Peeta because he really loved Katniss and thought she loved him to until when the train stopped for fuel Haymitch says to keep the act up, after that Katniss isn't sure about her feelings for him anymore, if she is in love with him or not.

Chapter 26

Katniss and Peeta are picked up by the hovercraft, then Peeta is rushed into surgery. I was afraid if Peeta was gonna die before they get him to the hospital. Katniss wakes up with flawless skin and all of her scars and burns have vanished. I was wondering if they had fixed Peeta as good as they did Katniss or if he was already dead and everyone was just too scared to tell her. Katniss is afraid that Peeta is dead. I was also afraid that he was dead too, either from his wounds or the nightlock berries or the capital was mad that there was two winners and killed him so Katiniss would be the only winner. They dressed up Katniss for the reunion with Peeta which everyone is watching. Why everyone has to be there to see them meet again.

Chapter 25

The creatures chasing after Cato was actually mutations of all of the dead tributes. I was wondering how the gamemakers  could revive them back to life and make mutts out of them. Cato almost killed Peeta by choking him but Peeta drew an "X" on him and for Katniss to shoot. I knew Peeta would make it out of the way just in time to save himself. Cato falls to the ground and gets attacked by the mutts. I was thinking that with his armor on, it was going to be a slow and painful death for him. The rules of the games change again to where there was gonna be one winner again, so Katniss and Peeta try and commit suicide. I knew the capital could not let both of them die or the games would be ruined.

Chapter 24

All of the water supply was drained out except the lake. I was thinking that the gamemakers did that so Katniss and Peeta would be out in the open so Cato could catch up with them but he didn't. Katniss and Petta built a fire hoping that cato would come after them. I was sitting on the edge just waiting to see if Cato would fall for it and show up and see what was gonna happen next. Cato was being chased by a lot of creatures. I was wondering if what Cato was running after was worse than the tracker jacker incident.

Chapter 23

Cato hunted down thresh and killed him. I was kind of glad and felt sorry for Katniss at the same time but at least she would not have to kill him. Peeta killed Foxface without knowing it, wit poisonous berries. I thought Cato killed her until Katniss pointed out the berries and cheese being gone. Katniss wondered what would happen if her and Peeta won. I am still wondering what their lives will be like if they won the games, i'm kind of thinking that they wouldn't act like rich people do and be mean to other people like they do.

Chapter 22

Peeta told Katniss that his father wanted to marry her mother. If Katniss' mom and Peeta's dad did get married then the fact that Peeta has a crush on Katniss would be a little weird. Peeta told Katniss the story of when his crush on her began. After Peeta was finished telling the story of when his crush on Katniss began Katniss learned that Peeta really does have a crush on Katniss.

Chapter 21

Thresh killed Clove, Cato went to help her but he was too late to save her. Thresh might have wanted revenge because of Rue's death as much as Katniss did since Thresh was in the same district as Rue. Katniss got the medicine she needed for Peeta from the orange backpack. Peeta might be able to survive and be thankful to Katniss for saving his life.

Chapters19/20

Katniss want on the hunt for Peeta and found him. When Katniss was cleaning Peeta's wound i thought it would have been a lot worse than it was. Katniss tried her best to clean Peeta's wound even though she was weak stomached. When my mom seen my back for the first time she was weak stomached too. Katniss kissed Peeta and got an arward from haymitch. Katniss would have to do that more often to get more rewards. Claudis templesmith  sent an invitation to everybody for a feast at the cornucopia. It could be a trap because I picked up from this book is that you can't trust anyone in the games. Katniss got sleep syrup and fooled Peeta into taking it. When Peeta wakes up he could either: 1. forget the whole thing ever happend or 2. be mad at Katniss.

Chapters 17/18

Katniss can't hear. Because of how loud the explosion was she lost her hearing just like agent Hotchner did in an episode of N.C.I.S after an explosion. Cato got mad at the kid from district 3 for doing a little too good with the mines. Cato could take out his revenge by killing him for making a chain reaction. Rue got shot with a spear. the cannon didn't shoot, so she might not be dead yet. the boy from district 1 killed Rue while Katniss killed him. because of Rue's death she would try to win the games for the both of them. Katniss made her first real kill. she was upset and thinking about how his family and friends might feel, and how she dropped the tracker jacker nest on the careers and that it killed two of them and now she's thinking that she aided in their deaths. The rules of the games changed. If both Katniss and Peeta went to the final two they wouldn't fight each other.

Chapter 16

Katniss got caught in the explosion. Since Katniss is the main character and hero she would probably only be injured from the mine explosion. Because, she is the main character/hero and the hero usually never dies. Peeta got wounded by the careers for leaving them. maybe Peeta didn't leave the careers, they probably kicked him out for saving Katniss. Katniss and Rue are planning to destroy the careers food supply. Because of Katniss being a good shooter it might have been better to destroy the food supply by shooting the nearest mine(s) to the food from a distance so she might not have been caught in the explosion.

chapter 15

Katniss was wondering why Peeta was with the careers since he saved her life. The careers could have made Peeta join them or else they might have killed him fiirst. Katniss and Rue teamed up because Rue reminded Katniss of Prim. If they go to the final two it would feel like Katniss would be fighting Prim.

Katniss got burn wounds from the fireballs. she could be too weak from the burns to move and the others could kill her in an instant. Katniss seen that Rue was in the tree next to her. Rue was gonna try to attack her. Katniss set lose a nest of tracker jackers on the careers. the careers were gonna get stung and die. Peeta saved Katniss's life. Peeta could be saving her becauuse he wants to kill her hisself.

Chapter 12

Peeta was faking to be in love with Katniss. Petta was trying to make Katniss trust him so he could kill her. There was a fire coming towards Katniss. someone had spotted Katniss through the camoflauge so they started a fire to burn her down from the tree and kill her.
